[Important] Request to Update Your Customer Information
In accordance with the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and other such laws, LINE Pay requests that users regularly update their basic information.
If you have received this notice from LINE Pay in regard to updating your customer information, please follow the instructions provided to update your info. We apologize for the inconvenience.
LINE Pay will contact customers via the LINE account linked to their LINE Pay account, and by posting the notice within their LINE Wallet.
Please refer to the instructions sent within LINE Pay for information regarding the process.
•If you do not update your information
In the event that you do not update your customer information with us, we may suspend all or part of the features associated with your LINE Pay account in accordance with the LINE Money Terms of Use, depending on the details and circumstances regarding our dealings with you. In such cases, services that are linked to your LINE Pay account such as LINE Pocket Money and LINE BITMAX will not be available for use.

•Submitting a copy of your residence card
Except in the case of special permanent residents, all foreign residents are required to submit a copy of their residence card when opening a LINE Pay account in order to check information such as their period of stay.
If your period of stay is almost up, you may not be able to create a LINE Pay account.
In addition, we will regularly check the period of stay and other such information for users who are foreign residents and already have a LINE Pay account. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please submit a copy of your new residence card if you have updated information such as your period of stay.
For users who are returning to their home countries without updating their period of stay in Japan, we ask that you make sure to delete your account before your period of stay expires.
If you do not submit a copy of your updated residence card, we may suspend all or part of the features associated with your LINE Pay account in accordance with the LINE Money Terms of Use. In such cases, services that are linked to your LINE Pay account such as LINE Pocket Money and LINE BITMAX will not be available for use.
